Social network difficulty grant to pair service pets with military veterinarians in requirement.

Pet Bless You, a non-profit company created to promote the selfless acts of canines and celebrate the distinct role they play in improving the human condition, provided a difficulty grant today that will match service and companion canines with military veterans in requirement.

The difficulty grant, dubbed Spirit of ’76, aims to supply people a simple and complimentary way to reveal support to servicemen and women, while raising awareness about the recovery role dogs play in the lives of those affected by war.

From now until July 4th, Canine Bless You will contribute a service or friend canine to an American veteran in requirement for every 1,000 fans to its Facebook, Pinterest or Tumblr pages. From PTSD to those with life altering injuries, the company will certainly feature brand-new pictures, videos and stories of war veterans and their pets every day, and work with dozens of service canine organizations to cultivate discussions focuseded on informing and motivating.

Since its starting 2011, Dog Bless You has made use of difficulty grants to brings search and rescue canines to locations damaged by disasters, pair guide dogs with the blind, and bring more than 40 service pets to veterans with PTSD. This year’s obstacle grant, valued at as much as $1 million, will be the most significant initiative in the company’s history.

“Pets are the guardian angels of the human soul, and few individuals require or deserve them more than those who have served our country,” says founder Charlie Annenberg Weingarten. “If we hand over canines to help vital missions on the fields of war, we must delegate canines to aid take care of our males and females at home.”

Taking part organizations include Animals to Vets, Soldier’s Best Friend, Puppies Behind Bars, Freedom Service Dogs, Paws for Purple Hearts, Paws and Stripes, Patriot PAWS, and ECAD, with more to be added throughout the course of the campaign.
